Jane's Halloween Performance

Almost every month Miss Dianne (Jane's preschool teacher) puts on a "show." Last month all the kids dressed up for Halloween. They sang songs for us, bobbed for apples, and had some festive food . The show always includes props and special surprises. I look forward to these every month because I get to see a little bit of Jane's world while she is away from me at school. Jane was something different for every Halloween party . This time she was Cinderella.

High School Reunion!

Prior to the evening my girlfriends all got ready together.

Last month was my 10 year HS reunion. I couldn't decide if I should go, but one of my dear friends Erin convinced me that it was important. I'm very glad that she made me go! It was
definitely so much fun. I saw so many people that I literally haven't seen since the day we left high school. I got to catch up with old friends who surprisingly all keep in touch! I have been completely out of the loop and it was so nice to be able to see and hang out with so many people I had missed over the years. I let Jake off the hook completely and went with some girlfriends. My highlight of the evening was watching my friends crash a 30 year reunion down the hall and dance with the older crowd.

Family Field Trip

Jake came home the other day and decided that we were going on a "family field trip." He wouldn't tell us where we were going. He took us to the Ocean Institute. He informed me that this was a child's ultimate playground. It's the little things in life like this that I appreciate. We only spent an hour there, but the kids were obsessed! Henry had many things to do and Jane was so happy to be out with her Daddy.

Disneyland

Disneyland was so hot this week! I was shocked that we were actually sweating in November.

Reese & Beck enjoying the scenery.

Harry wasn't into the picture thing, I couldn't get him to look at me! I love that little man!
Jane is insistent on wearing her Cinderella shirt everytime we go now.
Henry enjoying his snacks!

Laura's Baby Shower

One of my best friends Laura is having her 3rd baby! I got to go to her baby shower last week and celebrate the upcoming arrival of her very first girl. I am so excited for her because she has been wanting a girl for years. Lisa (her sister) is pregnant too, and I got to see her. It was so much fun to catch up with friends who live so close but I never see!

My Crazy Friends

Tonight I went to my blog and discovered that it had been hacked into. These 3 had changed my background to some hideous cartoon colored car decor titled "are you buggin?" and put this picture of them up with many nice things to say about themselves. I was seriously laughing so hard. My blog looked ridiculously ugly. They told me that I must be living my life right because it just so happened that I logged on right as they were doing it-they were caught in the act! So here they are, my beautiful crazy friends who compared sabotaging my blog to "adult toilet papering."

Pumpkin Patch

The other night we quickly stopped by the pumpkin patch. Jane got to ride the swings, and wouldn't look at us every time she passed. She was being completely silly pretending as if she didn't know us.

7 Kids on the Couch!

Zoomars

Miss Dianne's preschool took a field trip to Zoomars. When Jane & Henry got into the petting/feeding area they had they chance to pet, touch, and feed the bunnies. They were both screaming, crying and sitting on my lap with a death grip on me. I wonder where they got their fear from?? So we had to feed the bunnies from the outside of the pin. It was ridiculous! Jane rode a horse for the very first time and loved it. Henry would have nothing to do with it. I kind of didn't blame him being the animal lover that I am. He was obsessed with the train ride. He rode without me, and sat next to Jane. I felt like it was a milestone for him.

Disneyland Days

One of my very favorite things to do with the kids is go to Disneyland. I live for our season passes. It is always a day of complete attention on them. We get to leave our worries, problems, and frustrations behind and step into a world of wonder. It takes me back to my childhood, the curiosity, the happiness, being care-free. The kids eyes are my favorite to watch. They are in heaven! Jane always needs to go to the "Princess Royal Coronation." She is in love with all of the princesses, but Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty are her very favorite. Henry is happy to eat a churro and take in the scenery.
